Valuations are a natural part of our business and can take two forms.
The first is just simple curiosity about what something is worth ahead of a potential sale. Our valuations are provided in the strictest confidence, so you can make enquiries without a firm commitment to sell. There is no charge for this service, as we hope you’ll go on to sell with us in future!
The second is valuations for formal purposes such as insurance or probate. As auctioneers we are ideally placed to assess the market and provide formal valuations based on current conditions and past prices achieved by ourselves and other auction houses. We charge a modest amount for this service, which is levied on a case by case basis. Please get in touch for further details.
