Cycles and associated items have been at the core of our business since our very first sale. We have exceptional experience in the world of Veteran & Vintage Cycling, holding the record price for a Velocipede (£56,000 for a c1870 Peyton & Peyton treadle operated example).
Cycle ephemera and accessories are another area of great strength. Our founder Peter Card is a noted authority on early cycle lighting, publishing several books on the subject, whilst Laura Brown has a worldwide reputation in cycle sales.

Motor Cycles are the logical progression of cycles and the pre war era is one of the most exciting eras of motorcycling. From the pioneering motorised tricycles / forecars of De Dion Bouton and Leon Bolllee through to flat tanks and the more familiar designs of the 1930s. Laura is also our lead on motorcycling, and is a regular rider of a highly original 1923 BSA Model L and a 1927 Rudge outfit.
